Hi I just discovered your tax blog. Tax laws across the world are crazy. At times tax policies provide a small relief, but the administrative cost to the employer (who has to withhold tax after taking into consideration this relief) or indeed to the revenue could be substanitally higher. Tax policies cannot always be used as a carrot or a stick. Best regards, Lubna
